Take a walk or jog along the roadside and soak in the views.  

 

Walk up to the  General Store to get a local tshirt or a cool drink.

 

If you hike into Roosevelt National Forest, be sure to have a pack with appropriate gear to include gps, water, first aid. 

 

Bring up your road bike and cruise to Ward or Nederland or Estes or down to Lyons and back, get ready, it will be a doozy!
