Don't go far, just go outside of your cabin and enjoy the surroundings......sounds of the creek, resident chippy and family, hummingbirds, squirrels, bun, robins, you are sure to spot someone enjoying the day with you! You may also encounter moose, elk, fox, or even bears!

This charming mountain town is full of year around residents as well as seasonal cabins. You can see other cabins from your cabin and are on your own full acre of creekside property with views of the creek, pine, aspen and mountain to enjoy.
Less than a mile from the cabins is Highlands Presbyterian property, with access to a gorgeous nature trail, zip line,
archery and low ropes courses (call ahead to reserve).
"In town" you'll find a fresh water spring to load up water bottles en route to all your activities, the Meadow Mt Cafe serving up memorable breakfasts and lunches, Distant Harbors gift and antique store. You can also enjoy various activities at The Old Gallery...from yoga to soup supers on Tuesday nights, local art for sale or classes, you are welcome to stop by and see what is going on here,
by the fire station.
Ferncliff, our neighbor "town" and within walking distance, has recently re-opened and features a small grocery, gas, laundry and liquor shop. New owners have captured the original flavor and small town atmosphere making this sweet stop memorable.
Allenspark's hallmark is that we are surrounded by
Roosevelt National Forest, abounding in trails for hiking or running /mountain biking / 4x4 / snowshoeing and
cross country skiing.

WINTER mountain log cabin living is magical and an adventure!
Skiing is only 45 minutes away at Nederland and Eldora Resort. Sled, snow shoe or cross country ski at Rocky Mountain National Park.
4X4 and all wheel drive is recommended early Spring - Fall - Winter.
