ACTIVITIES in LYONS:

 

Plan ahead and enjoy a world renound musical festival adventure at Planet Blue Grass in Lyons.  


There is a string of fun shops on Main St. beside St Vrain Market...they always have fun treasures! 

 

The summertime is full of families relishing the river and park fun at Meadow Park....

you can rent tubes in town....but be careful! 

 

 

DINING IDEAS in LYONS:

 

St. Vrain Market has a wonderful bakery and serves divine cinnamon rolls, fresh breads, pies, and cookies.  

They also make great sandwiches and will support some light shopping for

anything you may have forgotten, to include fresh produce. 

 

Check out Pizza Bar 66 for fabulous drink, creative pizzas and salads, weekends usually will feature local music or karaoke. 

 

Grab a local brew at Oskar Blues or take in some local tunes, check out their music schedule. 


Stone Cup Cafe for a smoothie, coffee or a hot breakfast.  

 

Barking Dog Cafe for a great latte and bagel sandwich.  

 

Enjoy local BBQ flavors at Smokin' Daves...check out their second location in Estes Park.

 

 

ACTIVITIES in BOULDER: 

From Lyons, cruise to BOULDER and the Pearl St. Mall downtown Boulder for some serious shopping (buy a Frisbee) and people watching.  Relax with a cool drink while you watch the kids play in the water fountains.

Take that Frisbee and play on the green at Chautauqua Park….or just get in some more hikes!  

These are spectacular!  Check out the Royal Arch.

 

Enjoy a concert or movie or great show at the Historic Boulder Theater.

 

Wrap up the day at the Boulder Reservoir beach with a picnic dinner, more Frisbee,

splash in the water, swim, rent a paddle boat or kayak.  

 

Thursday nights  at the Boulder Reservoir June-August @ 6pm is a 750 or 1500m swim + 5K run,

$20ish bucks to enter.  Boulder Stroke and Stride,  a total blast! 

DINING in BOULDER: 

Gold Hill Inn, venture 10 miles out of Boulder up Left Hand Canyon, or access this historic Inn from the cabin

The Med on Pearl St. reasonable pricing, great happy hours, Italian and Greek cuisine, mmmm!  

Lucile's for lunch or awesome breakfasts, Louisiana cuisine......gotta order a beignet!

Jax Fish House on Pearl St....super expensive but suuuuper goooood, wow. 

The BUFF for a good hearty lunch or breakfast, full of CU fans!
