Degas' Deck, relax creekside
Guests enjoy coffee, knitting, reading, playing checkers, eating, visiting, watching humminbirds, setting up the hammock or even panning for gold! (we have not found any treasures YET....but you could be the first!)
You can spy little (and some actually NOT so little) brook trout all year long.....you have to sneak up on them though! Overton's Creek has 3 bridges that cross over....Bunger's Bridge, Slippery Rock, and the 3rd bridge is not named.
Franci & Corky's Fireside Room
Walking into the cabin, you find the living room. We store games, books, musical instruments, movies and music for you and your family to enjoy. The fireplace is an electric, has heat and adds that (safe) ambiance without the fuss.
Another view of the Fireside Room
You will learn why we named everything after people when you arrive. We have to save a few things to suprise you with.
One last view of the Fireside Room
A view there of the Holman Room and a glimpse of that propane stove in the kitchen.

A view looking upstream to Bunger's Bridge. These sweet little yellow flowers bloom late June - August only....and only in this little corner of the creek and property.
Icthus Trail ~ built in 2012
Every Spring we plant this section of the trail with wild flower seeds and anticipate what will grow and not grow. A gardening challenge for sure!
At the top of this trail is a flagstone landing spot, perfect for a morning coffee, perhaps some yoga, or building a tent with your kids.
Owl's Nest Picnic Area
This little nook of a spot sits besides Overton's Creek and enjoys views of Miers' Meadow and the Ichthus Trail. Try lying on top of the picnic table for a cat nap!
Jack's Cabin Allenspark
The daffodils come up usually late June which is quite late in the world of gardening but right on time in the mountains. They also do not last long, as a deer or Chippy will usually eat for breakfast or dinner.
Winter at Jack's Cabin
winter log cabin living in the mountains can be a blast...bring layers, snowshoes, and you'll have a great adventure!
Enjoy winter activities!
snow shoeing, sledding, cross country skiing not far. Eldora Resort for downhill skiing is 26miles away.
Bunger's Bridge in the winter...burr
March-May we still can get lots of snow!
Fall at the cabin...
Leaves don't start coming out until May....and then begin to fall in late September...in between, things are green and lush and do not stop growing!
